In my 17th week of training.
With 9 days before I run my first half marathon
I lay on a big cold metal table getting my foot x-rayed.
And the verdict is in.
I have an inverted sprained foot.
Xray came back negative for any breaks, but it is sprained.
My doc told me this morning I cannot run my half marathon.
It will take 2 weeks to a month to heal.
And there really isn't much more to say at this point.
